Cairo International Airport T3 is the largest of the three terminal buildings and is located in Heliopolis, around 15 km to the northeast of Cairo's city centre. Car hire in Cairo International Airport T3 makes accessing the city quick and easy, and the journey by car is likely to take between 25 and 30 minutes.
As you leave Cairo International Airport T3, you can use Airport Road to access El-Orouba, which links directly to the city of Cairo. This is the fastest route to the city, and the route continues on to Giza, on the other side of the Nile, which is approximately 20 km away from the airport terminal when travelling by road. Cairo International Airport Road, meanwhile, provides access to the satellite city of New Cairo, which is to the southeast of the airport.
Cairo International Airport T3 serves Cairo, Giza and the various satellite cities that make up the Cairo Governorate, including New Cairo, 15th of May City, El Shorouk and Badr. Cairo can be accessed using Airport Road and El-Orouba. This same route continues on to Salah Salem Street, which then takes you to the Abbas Bridge, providing you with access to Giza and the areas on the west side of the Nile River. Giza is notable for the Giza Plateau, which contains a number of famous ancient monuments, such as the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx of Giza.
